# WC3CC — Warcraft 3 Chat Client

Bring automatic voice chat to your Warcraft III matches without juggling room codes or Discord invitations.

WC3CC is a lightweight Windows companion app that reads the visible in-game roster and places participating players into the appropriate voice room. In team games, only teammates share voice. In 1v1, both players can join the same room with configurable privacy controls. FFA players share one room, while custom games follow the selected team arrangement.

## Quick start

1. Download and run `WC3CC.exe`.

2. Enter your BattleTag and the exact display name shown inside Warcraft III.

3. Choose your microphone, speakers, and preferred match type.

4. Start a Warcraft III match. WC3CC watches Warcraft's safe local match data and joins the correct voice room automatically.

5. If Warcraft does not provide a complete live roster, open the Allies panel with F11. WC3CC captures it and joins automatically; press F11 again to close the panel.

Only players who have WC3CC installed can participate in voice chat.

## Privacy and fair play

WC3CC does not inject code into Warcraft III and does not read game memory. It uses visible roster capture and a separate secure voice relay. Public player labels use Warcraft display names, not BattleTags.

## System requirements

- Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit

- Warcraft III: Reforged

- Microphone and internet connection

The first connection after a period of inactivity can take up to about a minute while the free relay wakes up.
